Lighting for corporate video: natural, careful and aligned with the brand
Lighting in a corporate video directly affects the trust a brand conveys. A well-lit interview feels clearer, closer and more professional; poor light can weaken even a strong message.
A large setup is not always necessary. Sometimes it is enough to control natural light, choose the room orientation well and softly reinforce the face. In other cases, when there are several interviews or a defined aesthetic, a more precise lighting setup is useful.
The decision should be made during pre-production. Reviewing location, windows, schedules, wall color and continuity needs helps shoot with intention and avoid abrupt changes between shots. Light is not decoration: it supports the tone of the piece.
